Honey Buzzard again

by Rob on May.24, 2009, under DIARY

Nothing much happened yesterday. Today was spent mainly on Mousa, where not much happened either (although a first-summer Glaucous Gull was by the pier at Leebitton). A brief visit to the lighthouse early in the morning revealed that the errant Honey Buzzard was still around, with its entourage of corvids and gulls in tow.

Yet another Bluethroat this evening – this singing male in the Sumburgh Hotel garden. I’ve now seen 14 Bluethroats in the last ten days!
