After a morning at work I nipped home for a quick lunch. There was a jolly selection of migrants around the house, including a Siskin and a Chaffinch in the garden, a Reed Bunting in the willows and a Knot on the pool. Thinking it was safe to vacate the area, I headed to Mousa just after midday to put up some signs. I’d not even got to Cunningsburgh when I got a text from Mr Minton: “Osprey from your garden”. Toss.
